Every year 10 million passengers travel with the comfortable travel coaches of Eurolines. The route network includes more than 700 destinations in 32 countries. The longest route is from Moscow to Lisbon – covering around 4500 kilometres. The long-distance coaches of Eurolines, which are indeed worthy of their name, connect the whole of Europe. The founding member of the long-distance coach provider is Deutsche Touring GmbH, which can look back on almost 70 years of experience in coach travel. The company plays a leading role in the Eurolines association, in which renowned and traditional partners from the industry work together.
Experienced and international
Deutsche Touring GmbH is one of Europe’s most important coach companies. The company was founded in 1948 at a truly historical place: the first airport in Frankfurt and one of the first in Germany, the so-called “Luftschiffhafen” (airship base) at the former Hofgut Rebstock on the Rebstock grounds in Frankfurt am Main. Once the home of aviation pioneers and historical zeppelins, years later this is where Deutsche Touring began the development of its scheduled services and domestic routes within Germany. With the “Europabus” brand, over time passengers started travelling throughout the whole of Europe as far as Teheran. Deutsche Touring contributed its years of experience and high quality and safety awareness to the founding of Eurolines, with the aim of transporting passengers throughout Europe comfortably, safely and at a low cost.
Although a new long-distance coach network was formed in 1985 under the brand umbrella Eurolines, the experienced team of Deutsche Touring GmbH, which can very much identify with the corporate philosophy of the traditional company, is behind it. At the focus of all their activities is the well-being of the passengers, who want to feel safe and in good hands on board the long-distance coaches. In order to achieve this, our employees are hard at work every single day at the headquarters in Eschborn and the eleven German branches. As qualified Deutsche Touring travel experts they are continuously striving to improve our services and further develop the route network.
